The situation escalated over December 5 and 6. Protesters were on site during the day and evening hours of December 5. When returning early on December 6, we found that the contractors had worked overnight, placing 34 additional containers and grading roads.
The decision was made on the spot to set up camp 24x7. A shift rotation schedule was sent out, and volunteers signed up immediately.
