Just two days after taking office, new Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has declared that Arizona will not pursue the wrong-headed lawsuit filed by former governor Ducey contesting the ownership of the strip of land at the border wall.
This suit claimed that Arizona had authority over the Roosevelt Reservation that superseded the US Federal Government. This erroneous claim was used by the former governor to slam in the illegal container wall. We applaud Governor Hobbs’ decision to not waste taxpayer money on this folly.
However, we wait eagerly for the actual word that this suit is done for.
